Private, Bakery Base Depot, Royal Army Service Corps. Army no S4/184629
He died, probably of natural causes, on 4 December 1918. He was 25
He is buried in grave Div 62 IV G 5 Sainte Marie Cemetery, Le Havre

He was the son of Richard and Fanny Bennett of Shenington

Richard BRYAN
Gunner, 128th (Oxford) Heavy Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Army no 51  
He was killed in action on 6 June 1916. He was 29 
He is buried in grave II C 1 Brandhoek Military Cemetery near Ypres
Additional Information
He was the husband of Sarah Bryan of Shenington

George COLES
Private, 2nd Battalion, The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, 5 Brigade, 2nd Division. Army no 19416
He died from his wounds on 3 September 1916. He was almost certainly wounded on the battlefields of the Somme. He was 20
He is buried in grave II H 5 Dive Copse British Cemetery, Sailly-Le-Sec

He was the son of Annie and the late Henry Coles of Shenington

Fred HARRIS
Private, 2nd Battalion, The Royal Warwickshire Regiment, 22 Brigade, 7th Division. Army no 29987. He was formerly Army no 22940 with The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. 
He died from his wounds on 4 May 1917. He was probably wounded in the Battle of Bullecourt. He was 39.
He is remembered on bay 3 of the Arras Memorial.

He was the son of Sarah Ann Harris and the late Mr Harris

Geoffrey William Whitmore MARSHALL
Private, 4th Battalion, The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry Army no 200633. His number had changed from Army no 2638
He died in the quarter ending September 1917. He had enlisted on 1 September 1914 and his poor health had resulted in his discharge from the Army and the award of the Silver War Badge on 16 June 1917. I have not established whether his health was as a result of his wartime service

He was 23 and the son of William Edward and Annie Caroline Marshall

Sidney Joseph UPTON
Private, 7th (Extra Reserve) Battalion, Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment), 190 Brigade, 63 Division. Army no G/68098. He was formerly Army no 7873 with 2nd/5th The Queens (Royal West Surrey Regiment)
He was killed in action on 30 October 1917 in the second Battle of Passchendaele.  He was 29
He is remembered on panel 28-30 and 162-162A and 163A of the Tyne Cot Memorial

He was the only son of Joseph and Annie Upton of Shenington and the husband of Annie Elizabeth Upton, Woodbine Cottage, Great Bourton
