He was 28 He was the son of James and Clara Addyman, Saltergate Hill, Harrogate and the husband of Edith Long, formerly Addyman, also of Saltergate Hill, Harrogate He is buried in grave III C 6 Chester Farm Cemetery Additional information In the 1911 census, he was a Police Constable Thomas ANDREWS I have found no military record for this man but I believe he was the son of Thomas and Alice Andrews, The Cottage, Hazelcroft, Killinghall Robert BARRETT Acting Corporal, 1st/5th Battalion, The Prince of Wales’s Own (West Yorkshire Regiment), 146 Brigade, 49th Division. Army no. 2253 He was killed in action during the battle of Pozières Ridge on 28 August 1916. He was the son of Mrs Barrett, 46 Electric Avenue, New Park, Harrogate He is buried in grave I F 12 Hamel Military Cemetery, Beaumont-Hamel Arthur BAXTER Gunner, A Battery, 230th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. He was formerly with The Prince of Wales’s Own (West Yorkshire Regiment). Army no 203851. He was killed in action on 10 October 1917 He was 37. The aircraft crashed at 01.59 on its return to base. 5 of the crew were killed.
