He died from his wounds on 6 August 1917.  He was 28 
He is remembered on panel 96 to 98 of the Tyne Cot Memorial

He was the son of John Jethro and Mary Hannah Luckett. His brothers, William and Sydney are mentioned on the Roll of Honour
