He died from his wounds on 10 October 1918. He was 19
He was the son of Thomas H and Elizabeth Compton, The

He is buried in the Churchyard of St Mary Magdalene,
Balscote

Sydney (also spelt Sidney) COX
Private, 46th Battalion, Saskatchewan Regiment, Canadian Infantry.  Army no. 472803
He was killed in action on 5 May 1917. He was 31.
He was the son of John Edward and Ellen Cox of Balscote and the husband of Fanny M A Cox of Midemoya, Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada.
He is buried in Avion Mem 4 La Chaudiere Military Cemetery,
Vimy

Henry COLES
Private, Royal Garrison Artillery Army no. 283287
He died on in about June 1918 from illness. He was 33
He was the son of Edward and Jane Coles of Balscote.
He has no official War Grave
Additional information
He had been discharged from the Army in March 1918 as a result of his illness

He died on 2 December 1915. He was 22
