HMS Stalker was an aircraft carrier in the final stages of being fitted out

Additional Information
He was killed in a training accident. Hampden P4339, QR-H took off at circa 12.00 hrs from RAF Upper Heyford. It collided at 20 feet with 16 OTU Hampden L4138 which had taken off on what, tragically, proved to be a converging course. The three occupants of the 16 OTU aircraft were injured, two of them seriously.
